HOW TO: CREATE A FORM
MOVE A FORM FROM THE FREE SERVICE REGISTER OR UPGRADE TO SAFEMAIL.TO |
FormMail. To Premium Service is the fastest and easiest way to create high-quality forms for your Website to collect whatever information you need from your site visitors.SafeMail.To enhances this service by giving you secure forms and e-mail. SafeMail. To runs on a SSL secure server, so all user input is completely protected between the browser and the server. Like FormMail. To forms, SafeMail. To will e-mail whatever data you have defined for your form, but SafeMail. To sends the data as an encrypted HTML message or an encrypted Zip file attachment.
With the first option, messages are sent in HTML format with a small JavaScript function embedded that will decrypt the data. Just enter the same password you used to create your FormMail. To form and click the "Decrypt" button. There is no software to install with this method; no keys to register; no trying to figure out how to use complex encrypted e-mail packages. The only requirement is an e-mail reader that supports HTML-format mail and JavaScript.
However, some e-mail readers do not support HTML messages or JavaScript. (Many Web-based mail systems, for example, support HTML messages, but any JavaScript in the message will be intentionally disabled to avoid conflict with the HTML or JavaScript used by the reader itself.) You can test your e-mail reader using the test form at the bottom of this page. If you cannot read HTML or cannot enable JavaScript in your e-mail client, you can instead have the message text sent as an encrypted Zip file attachment. These files can be opened and decrypted with utilities that recognize the Zip compressed file format, such as PKZIP and WinZip. Again, you enter the same password that you used to create your form.
That's it! And it's only $2 per month! Collecting credit card numbers or any other sensitive information in a completely secure environment with a professional-looking HTML form has never been easier or more affordable! Try it with the e-mail form below to see how easy it is to use.
To get started now, click here to read the help page first, or here to create a new form (you can click on any field prompt to get help information about that field). If you already have a FormMail. To free service form, you can move it to the Premium service database, then register it it as a SafeMail. To form.
BONUS OFFER: For a limited time only, register a SafeMail. To form now, and get our direct encrypted e-mail service for free! With this service, anyone can send you an encrypted e-mail message simply by typing "safemail.to/yourEmailAddress" in their browser window! Their message will be entered through the SSL secure server and the encrypted message will be sent to you using your password.
This is a test of the direct e-mail service, which you will get for free if you register any SafeMail. To form during this introductory promotion. For this test, you can send encrypted e-mail to any address, but try sending yourself a message to be sure you can decrypt it. Try it now!
Important Notes: Read before testing this form!
If you select the "HTML w/ JavaScript" option here, when the message arrives there will be a form (like a Web page form) with a box to enter your password, a Decrypt button, and a larger box with the (unreadable) encrypted message. If you do not see the form with boxes and buttons, then your e-mail reader is not recognizing the HTML-format message. (If that's the case, you will probably not be able to use the HTML option with that reader, but you might check to see if enabling HTML in messages is an optional setting.) If you see the form, then just enter the same password you entered here and click the "Decrypt" button, and the message in the box should become readable. If nothing happens when you click the Decrypt button, then your e-mail reader may not support JavaScript, or perhaps it does not currently have JavaScript enabled. (If the encrypted text in the box changes when you click the Decrypt button but it is still unreadable, then the JavaScript is working, but you have entered the wrong password. Click the "Retry" button to reset the message before re-entering the password.) Most modern e-mail readers should not have a problem with HTML and JavaScript (and you can easily get free software if you need it). Sending yourself a test message is the fastest way to be sure you can read the HTML encrypted messages before using that option in your SafeMail. To form. Standard POP-3 readers such as MS Outlook or Outlook Express, Eudora, or Netscape Messenger will work, but only if JavaScript is enabled: Please see this help page, see your reader's documention, or search the Web for instructions.
If you select the Zip file option, the mail will arrive with an attachment that you can open and decrypt with your Zip utility. Depending on your e-mail reader, you may need to save the file first, but many e-mail readers will automatically open the Zip file with the proper utility if you just double-click on the attachment.
